Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator 4 to provide administrative, technical, and logistics support across Goods Movement, materials staging, and warehouse operations.

The role involves SAP/MES transactions, loading/unloading, and coordinating with Production Control. A strong knowledge of manufacturing processes is required; US citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility are needed. 9/80 schedule with potential overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years related logistics experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain DoD clearance.
• Experience with SAP and MES systems.
• Forklift experience.

Northrop Grumman Strategic Systems Division is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator 4. The position will be located in Huntsville, AL.

What You'll Get To Do:

• Provides administrative, technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily Goods Movement, Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Operations
• Tracks and stages Raw Material and Parts for Manufacturing Processes
• Experience in SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receiving transactions
• Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process
• Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand
• Works closely with the Integration/Production Control team and shop floor with experience working in a warehouse environment
• Wraps and packs parts to send to on and offsite locations
• Provides status of material and/or parts during meetings or other required planning/status sessions
• Operate company-owned vehicles to execute pick-up and delivery of parts between Northrop Grumman sites/buildings, and offsite locations at times
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical requirements

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience with logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to read and follow policies / procedures
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Valid driver’s license
• Prior experience using SAP/ MES
• Experience with packaging, wrapping, and banding items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, equipment, etc.
• Forklift experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) clearance
• Assist with any shipping claims or damaged repairs to shipping containers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transportation Management Systems experience, specifically used to book, track, verify pickup and delivery and running reports.
• Experience booking shipments within the Defense Transportation Management Systems (Ryder)
• Experience with processing freight bills, packing sheets and other documents.
• Experience packing and handling hazardous Shipments

Primary Level Salary Range:

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,500.00 - $105,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
