Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Storeroom Associate to manage the storeroom, receive shipments, and ensure timely delivery of materials to clinical areas. The role emphasizes inventory control, equipment cleaning, and adherence to infection prevention standards.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of stocking experience and a commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsible for all Storeroom duties to include but not limited to: patient care equipment/code carts, receiving, par carts, cleaning of storeroom, and delivery of materials to the ordering department. Cross trained in equipment competencies (storing, cleaning, delivery, and pick up). Receiving and delivering all items received into the hospital to facilitate an uninterrupted flow of materials. Responsible for replenishing products that has been received into its assigned par stocking location in the medical departments.
Demonstrates proficiency in processing the receipts of all inbound freight by packing slips and purchase orders, as well as processing all outbound shipments from the hospital. Responsible for obtaining signatures for the items delivered to ensure proper documentation for processing payment. Demonstrates knowledge of infection prevention re: to equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
