Responsibilities

• Support commodity buyers with RFQ distribution and negotiation strategy.
• Assist in driving supplier business plan performance to target.
• Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budget and scope.
• Identify cost savings opportunities via VA/VE, design changes, supplier negotiations, and re-sourcing.
• Maintain supplier documentation using SAP and web-based systems.
• Support project managers in purchasing tasks: timing, orders, deliveries.
• Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results.
• Complete basic purchasing tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement and submit ideas.

Education

Bachelor's degree (pursuing) in supply chain management, business administration, finance or engineering
