Job summary

Rhodes Wolfe is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Lawrence, MA to support purchasing, inventory and material planning. You will work with the Materials Manager and internal teams to keep materials flowing and customer commitments on track, using data analysis to drive improvements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in manufacturing or distribution environments, excels at data-driven decision making, and can collaborate across departments for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supply chain, purchasing, materials, inventory or planning experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/distribution environments.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and XLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to support purchasing, inventory, production and business decisions.
• Generate recurring reports and flag shortages, late orders and key trends.
• Analyze demand, inventory levels, safety stock and POs to ensure material availability.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory levels and turns.
• Provide buyers with PO data, supplier performance, lead times and inbound freight analysis.
• Support supplier issues, cost analysis and lead-time analysis.
• Maintain accurate item master and purchasing data in ERP.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve data issues and support material availability.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reporting and data accuracy.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and Lean initiatives.
• Investigate trends and root causes and develop practical recommendations.
• Support business decisions with accurate and timely reporting.
