Job summary

The Current Year Planner at Bayer focuses on the execution of supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. You will coordinate logistics, manage inventory, and oversee transportation processes, working closely with vendors and internal teams to optimize workflows and address operational challenges.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field, strong communication, and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of Ship as Basic & the PUSH to Marketable plan while balancing capacity and requirements.
• Prioritize signal in PP1 (local push, ship-as-basic outbound).
• Monitor seed entering PP2 and send RCCP to site, completing the push to marketable inventory.
• Maintain inventory, upgrade plans, and push inventory to MRKT state per product specs.
• Collaborate with planners on the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan and PUSH to Marketable with regional teams.
• Optimize resources, capacity, and processing for reliable PUSH to marketable inventory.
• Lead Deterioration and Obsolescence actions and manage write-offs.
• Coordinate handoffs from PUSH to PULL; leverage replenishment linkages.
• Resolve supply constraints via escalation; ensure phytosanitary requirements alignment.
• Support continuous improvement in related processes and cross‑functional collaboration.
