Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent education/experience.
• At least 3 years in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite).

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Planner II coordinates inventory planning, demand forecasting, and distribution activities to ensure product availability and efficient supply chain operations. This role analyzes trends, manages inventory levels, and collaborates across functions to optimize service levels, cost, and operational performance. Applies professional judgment to resolve issues and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Hybrid role - onsite 2-3 days a week at the site in Liberty, Missouri

Essential Functions

• Manage inventory planning and control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and balance service, cost, and inventory investment


• Analyze demand patterns and forecast inputs to adjust supply plans and improve inventory availability and accuracy


• Develop and coordinate replenishment, production, and shipment plans to ensure timely and efficient product flow


• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align supply chain activities, resolve constraints, and support customer fulfillment


• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance service levels, efficiency, and cost outcomes


• Investigate inventory, shipping, and service discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions


• Support vendor and supplier logistics programs to improve distribution efficiency and strengthen supply chain performance


• Communicate inventory performance, risks, and operational insights to stakeholders to support informed decision‑making


• Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent education and/or experience


• 3 years in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or a related field


• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule - 2-3 days a week onsite

Preferred Requirements

• 3 years in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or a related field


• Experience with inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply planning tools and systems

Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and inform inventory and supply planning decisions


• Demonstrated problem-solving ability to resolve inventory, logistics, and service issues and implement effective solutions


• Effective planning and prioritization skills to manage multiple demands and meet operational deadlines


• Clear verbal and written communication skills to share insights and coordinate across cross-functional teams


• Proficiency in using spreadsheets, ERP systems, and supply chain tools to manage and report on operational data


• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records, shipments, and reporting outputs


• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support efficient supply chain execution


• Ability to effectively manage excess and obsolete inventory


• Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.

$49,200.00 - $64,000.00
