Job summary

Map Your Show, LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Lead to design, implement and improve supply chain processes. You will lead a team of Specialists and Coordinators, driving continuous improvement and coordinating with global teams in Germany and internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of manufacturing or logistics experience, with strong SAP WMS and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing or logistics experience with Lean/Six Sigma approaches.
• Experience leading a team with direct reports and managing projects/RFPs.
• Advanced experience with SAP (WMS, Manufacturing, Reporting) or similar.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, project management, testing and implementation of optimized supply chain solutions.
• Champion organizational change and standardize processes across plants and global guidelines.
• Develop RFPs, review proposals, and prepare project budgets.
• Design and implement optimized plant layouts, inventory flow, warehousing and logistics.
• Monitor KPIs and build internal analysis tools; report performance using SAP.

Location: Waunakee, WIReports to: Supply Chain ManagerSummaryThe Supply Chain Optimization Lead analyzes, designs, project manages, implements and improves Supply Chain processes and layouts in accordance with the Company’s safety, cost, quality and delivery standards. The position oversees a team of direct reports, including Specialists and/or Coordinators.DescriptionProject Planning, Management and Execution- Lead the planning, project management, testing and implementation of optimized solutions- Be a champion for change in the organization- Implement standard and consistent processes across all Plants and in alignment with global guidelines- Develop RFP, obtain and review proposals/quotes and prepare project budgetsContinuous Process ImprovementLead the Analysis, Design and Implementation of Solutions to Optimize:- Plant layouts and materials/inventory flow- Receiving- Warehousing and Logistics- Inventory storage and control- Picking/Packing/Shipping & Transportation- Distribution and global Supply Chain network- SAP Warehouse Management- Systems/equipment/automationPerformance Monitoring- Create internal analysis tools- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPI) using SAP reportingCross-Functional Collaboration- Lead and develop a team of direct reports (Specialists, Coordinators, etc.), including all performance management, performance reviews and goal setting- Collaborate with Parent Company in Germany and act as a counterpart to the Global Supply Chain and Logistics teams in Germany- Support Management in operational, conceptional, strategic planning and presentation of concepts and solutions- Work cross-functionally with the Supply Chain department, Global Logistics Management team in Germany, Production Managers and Supervisors, ERP/WMS and IT teams, Industrial Engineering, and Facilities/MaintenanceQualificationsEducation:- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalentExperience:- 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment with Continuous Improvement approaches (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.)- Experience leading a team with direct reports- Project Management and RFP experience- Advanced experience with SAP (WMS, Manufacturing, Reporting) or similar- Advanced ability with MS Excel- Experience with AutoCAD or similarSkills and Key Attributes:- Critical thinking and problem solving- Ability to lead other employees through changes- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data and draw valid conclusions- Ability to think creatively and proactively propose solutions with attention to detail- Ability to effectively communicate issues and ideas with peers and with management- Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization- Ability to shape relationships with new and existing software and equipment suppliers- Ability to manage large multi-departmental projects- Ability to facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams- Ability to operate independently within a deadline driven environment- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
