Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated contractor to assist with food manufacturing, production, packaging, shipping, and customer service tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure all processes adhere to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), handle order fulfillment for distributors and direct customers, and provide excellent follow-up support. This role requires hands‑on involvement in a fast‑paced environment, with training provided on our key systems. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food manufacturing and production processes, ensuring all activities comply with established SOPs for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Once products are produced, carefully pack items according to specifications to prepare for shipment.
• Drop off packaged products at local UPS or FedEx stores for timely delivery.
• Monitor and fulfill incoming orders from distributors and direct customers, prioritizing accuracy and speed.
• Utilize Shopify for customer service follow‑ups, including order updates, inquiries, and issue resolution.
• Leverage tools like Katana for inventory management and ShipStation for shipping coordination (comprehensive training will be provided).
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and shipments to support smooth operations.
• Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and ensure high standards of product quality.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies during manufacturing and handling.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
• Proficiency in using Shopify, Katana, and ShipStation (or willingness to learn quickly with provided training).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage production and fulfillment tasks effectively.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions and team collaboration.
• Reliable transportation for dropping off packages at UPS/FedEx locations.
• Availability to work flexible hours based on order demands (e.g., weekdays with potential weekends).
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or order fulfillment in a similar industry.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms and inventory management systems.
• Customer service experience, particularly in resolving order‑related issues.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics and carrier services (UPS/FedEx).
