Job summary

QTS Data Centers is expanding its supply chain capabilities and seeks a Delivery Project Manager to coordinate equipment delivery for projects nationwide. You will oversee throughput from vendors to warehouse networks and sites, ensuring timely delivery and accurate shipment tracking.

Working with suppliers, internal teams, and onsite personnel, you will identify risks, optimize allocations, and manage logistics via Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Experience in planning, logistics, or supply chain management, incl. inbound/outbound operations.
• Proficiency in Oracle suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Generate Orders (Transfer, inbound, outbound) to flow to warehouse personnel for completion inside Oracle system.
• Coordinate with upstream and project site leaders to ensure accuracy of material requested and planned against inventory.
• Ensure accurate tracking of shipments by sites.
• Track shipments and communicate updates to stakeholders and address issues.
• Coordinate with onsite teams to understand equipment needs and validate ship dates against inventory.
• Identify risks and potential delays in equipment delivery and inform senior leadership.
• Assist leadership in adjusting equipment allocations based on risks and priorities.
• Coordinate business process documentation inside Oracle and with internal stakeholders.
• Establish metrics and reports to monitor and improve equipment delivery.
• Analyze BOMs and customer specs to configure, stage, kit, and allocate inventory for deployments.
• Coordinate inventory modifications, relabeling, serialization validation, and consolidation for shipments.
• Validate inventory accuracy and availability while resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with project teams, procurement, warehouse ops, and logistics partners to align inventory with deployment dates.
• Manage inventory staging and allocation to ensure proper configuration and preparation before shipment.

SUMMARY

QTS Data Centers is building out its supply chain capabilities to better support rapid growth. The Delivery Project Manager will be a key member of the upstream supply chain team, managing the connection points between our vendors, our warehouse network, and our project sites across the country.

We are seeking a Logistics to lead the coordination, execution, and management of Systemic equipment delivery for projects. Collaborating closely with suppliers, internal teams, and onsite personnel, you will ensure the timely delivery, accurate tracking, and resolution of any logistical issues related to equipment procurement. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring project success by effectively managing the logistics of equipment delivery and allocation.

The ability to influence & energize a diverse set of stakeholders towards a common goal will be a key factor for success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate Orders (Transfer, inbound, outbound) to flow to warehouse personnel for completion inside Oracle system.

• Coordinate with upstream and project site leaders to ensure accuracy of material being requested and order planning as gauged against existing, inbound, and reserved inventory in Oracle.

• Ensure accurate tracking of shipments by sites.

• Track shipments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing any issues or discrepancies.

• Coordinate with the onsite teams to understand their equipment needs by specified dates and validate them against current ship dates and inventory reservations in Oracle.

• Identify risks and potential delays in equipment delivery and communicate them to senior leadership for evaluation.

• Assist senior leadership in evaluating and adjusting equipment allocations at a program level, based on identified risks and priorities.

• Coordinate business process documentation inside Oracle and improvement strategies with internal stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.

• Establish business metrics and reports to monitor and improve equipment delivery.

• Analyze project requirements, bills of materials (BOMs), and customer specifications to transform, configure, stage, kit, and allocate inventory to meet project-specific deployment needs.

• Coordinate inventory modifications, repackaging, relabeling, serialization validation, and material consolidation activities to ensure project readiness prior to shipment creation.

• Validate inventory accuracy, availability, and compliance with project requirements while resolving material discrepancies and shortages.

• Collaborate with project teams, procurement, warehouse operations, and logistics partners to align inventory with scheduled deployment dates and customer requirements.

• Manage inventory staging and allocation processes to ensure materials are properly configured, documented, and prepared before shipment release.

• Review and adjust inventory structures to optimize fulfillment efficiency, minimize shipment errors, and support successful project execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field preferred.

• Previous experience in planning, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on managing inbound and/or outbound operations.

• Proficiency in Oracle suite.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Palantir and Tableau

• Experience or familiarity with data center design and construction is advantageous.
