Description

About AWS Infrastructure Services

AWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates all AWS global infrastructure — we're the team that keeps the cloud running. We support every AWS data center and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that give our customers continuous access to the innovation they depend on. With thousands of variables impacting our supply chain, we tackle some of the most complex logistics challenges at scale — and we're looking for talented people who want to help solve them.

You'll join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations leaders. You'll partner across AWS to deliver the highest standards of safety and security while enabling seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost. And you'll be part of an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to drive them to completion.

About The Role

The AWS Cloud Logistics team is looking for a results-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead warehouse and transportation operations at our Florence, KY hub. You will own the end-to-end flow of materials in and out of the facility — ensuring product moves on time to support manufacturing builds and data center deployments.

A critical component of this role is direct management of our 3PL partner, including performance accountability, KPI governance, and continuous improvement. You'll think strategically about how to optimize processes, reduce cost, and build a more resilient supply chain — while executing tactically to meet daily operational demands.

What You’ll Do
  • Own warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring on‑time material flow to manufacturing and data center sites
  • Manage and hold accountable our 3PL vendor partner — driving KPI adherence, SLA performance, and operational excellence
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of operational defects through data‑driven problem solving
  • Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives from concept through sustainable implementation
  • Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with and influence cross‑functional teams and external partners to drive alignment and results
  • This position is Sunday‑Tuesday 9AM-8PM
