Sears Manufacturing Co. in Davenport, IA is seeking a Supply Chain Manager I responsible for developing commodity strategies aligned to the company's objectives, managing inflationary impacts, building supplier relationships, and sourcing materials at the best total cost while considering quality and reliability.
A cross-functional leader will drive supplier performance and coordinate with engineering on product launches.
The Supply Chain Manager I is responsible for developing commodity strategy’s that align to the company’s objectives. These objectives are achieved through managing of inflationary impacts, building supplier relationships, and sourcing materials from suppliers at the best total cost consistent with considerations of quality, capability, and reliability. A Supply Chain Manager I is also responsible for developing and leading various cross functional teams and projects related to all elements of commodity management. These include, but are not limited to, supplier performance management, commodity rationalization, cost savings initiatives, and supplier managed inventory programs.
