Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager/Middle Mile Performance Manager to help develop a world class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. This role focuses on freight flowing through our North American networks, including carrier programs and performance, with domestic travel.

Based in Tempe, AZ, you will design and implement programs, analyze data with Excel/SQL, drive automation, and influence carrier leadership and tech teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience defining and implementing data-driven process improvements.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookups, data cleansing).
  • Experience driving repeatable processes and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on design, development, and delivery of programs, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
  • Analyze data across databases using Excel, SQL, and other systems; perform ad hoc reporting.
  • Use AI to improve efficiency while maintaining accuracy and credibility of outputs.

ATS is seeking a Supply Chain Manager/ Middle Mile Performance Manager to help develop a world class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. Our team objective is to manage freight flowing through our North American transportation networks, specifically focused on transportation carrier programs and performance.

Key job responsibilities
  • Collaborate on the design, development, and delivery of key programs, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to inform business decisions across customer-facing programs.
  • Analyze data across databases using Excel, SQL, Amazon Quick, and other data management systems, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Use AI to improve efficiency while maintaining ownership of accuracy and credibility of outputs.
  • Influence third-party (3P) carrier leadership and Amazon technology teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance service, iterate technology, and strengthen vendor engagement and growth.
  • Assess how Middle Mile Box Truck (MMBT) supply chains can efficiently serve each program, identify opportunities, and align with key stakeholders to influence program decision‑making.
  • Travel domestically 25%-50%.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
