Job summary

Jobtailor in Seattle seeks a senior Supplier Manager to lead supplier management and procurement efforts. You will coordinate across internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely governance of procurement processes.

The role requires strong executive presence, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence senior leaders while managing high-stakes discussions and cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.
• 3+ years in executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication; able to influence senior leaders and lead high-stakes discussions.
• At least 1 year in a leadership role or completed Boeing's Exploring Leadership course.
• Willing to work any shift (weekends/holidays) as required.
• Able to operate domestically and/or internationally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with Puget Sound/China for supplier and parts issues related to Zhoushan Completion Center airplanes.

• Supply chain / supplier process development and documentation.
• Develop and maintain internal supply chain and supplier communication plans (internal and external).
• Ensure regulatory requirements associated with procurement (including import/export) are worked in a timely manner.
• Maintain second issues standard operating procedures ensuring a process is in place to expedite parts to support emergent needs.

• Ensure regulatory requirements associated with procurement (including import/export) are worked in a timely manner.
• Maintain second issues standard operating procedures ensuring a process is in place to expedite parts to support emergent needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.
• 3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high‑stakes discussions.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
• Must be willing and able to work any shift (weekends/holidays as required).
• Domestically and/or internationally on short notice.
