Role Overview

We are looking for someone who thrives in a schedule-driven New Product Introduction (NPI) environment and is comfortable in a startup environment with partial information and quick decision-making - landing hardware on immovable bring-up and build dates. You source new suppliers, expedite purchase orders (POs), and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) with Engineering teams holding vendors and suppliers accountable. This role reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain.

Core responsibilities

The SCM will manage procurement processes, source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of materials, managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Sourcing / procurement /related experience, ideally in a startup environment
• Strong execution under pressure with clear written/oral communication, reliable follow-through, and the Judgment to escape early to protect schedule.
• Comfortable executing while building structure and processes
• Strong procurement, vendor management, and negotiation skills
• Experience with supply chain management and inventory control
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and using procurement software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience reducing purchase-price variance (PPV) without increasing risk

Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
