Job summary

Yinlun TDI LLC is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for North America to lead and coordinate strategic supply chain initiatives across the United States and Mexico. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Sales to support new business development, supplier localization, and cost competitiveness.

The role focuses on integrating Supplier Development, Project Purchasing, and Strategic Sourcing, driving cross-functional alignment, and acting as a bridge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, Project Purchasing.
  • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations supporting North America and Asia preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead North America supply chain initiatives across the U.S. and Mexico focusing on Supplier Development, Project Purchasing, and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Drive collaboration and standardization across regional supply chain teams to improve communication, resource sharing, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies to support supplier localization, cost reduction, capacity expansion, and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead supplier selection, RFQ/RFP activities, commercial negotiations, supplier performance reviews, and strategic supplier development initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support APQP, PPAP, supplier qualification, new product launches, and production readiness.
  • Coordinate project purchasing activities to ensure timely material readiness for new program launches across North America.
  • Build strong partnerships with the global supply chain organization at headquarters to align sourcing strategies, supplier resources, and best practices.
  • Identify supply chain improvement opportunities across supplier performance, procurement processes, and regional collaboration.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional supply chain teams while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager, North America

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager, North America to lead and coordinate strategic supply chain initiatives across the United States and Mexico. This role will focus on integrating and strengthening three key supply chain functions across North America: Supplier Development, Project Purchasing, and Strategic Sourcing.

The successful candidate will drive collaboration across regional teams, improve cross-functional alignment between the U.S. and Mexico, and serve as a key bridge between North America operations and the global supply chain organization at headquarters. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Sales to support new business development, supplier localization, cost competitiveness, and long-term supply chain capability growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate North America supply chain initiatives across the U.S. and Mexico, with a primary focus on Supplier Development, Project Purchasing, and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Drive collaboration and standardization across regional supply chain teams to improve communication, resource sharing, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies to support supplier localization, cost reduction, capacity expansion, and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead supplier selection, RFQ/RFP activities, commercial negotiations, supplier performance reviews, and strategic supplier development initiatives.

Qualifications
Education

Professional Experience
  • 6-8 years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, Project Purchasing.
  • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations supporting North America and Asia preferred.
Skills

  • Business acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, delivery, compliance, and risk.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, supply chain planning tools, and inventory management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish language proficiency preferred.
  • Experience working with suppliers and operations in the U.S., Mexico, and China.
  • Experience with IATF 16949 manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, thermal management, or industrial manufacturing industries.
  • Experience leading supplier localization, cost reduction, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
Travel Requirement
  • This position is based in Houston, Texas, with approximately 20%-40% travel.
