Job summary

Sanofi in Framingham, MA is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead North America external manufacturing SCM. You will optimize inventory, create production plans, and ensure timely supplier deliveries for a range of dosage forms. This role requires cross-functional collaboration and external partner management.

The position emphasizes end-to-end supply chain processes, CMO relationship oversight, and strategic project leadership to support product launches and global supply continuity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical Supply Chain manufacturing or packaging across dosage forms.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Kinaxis.
  • Experience in end-to-end business processes, including Master Data Management, Material Planning, and Supply Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous product supply from North American subcontractors while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Establish production plans, issue orders to suppliers, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve production challenges including prioritization and scheduling issues.
  • Manage CMO costs and overall relationships.
  • Conduct Quality Business Reviews and monthly inventory reconciliations.
  • Oversee contract, relationship, and financial performance management with Procurement.
  • Resolve and settle contractual issues with Global Purchasing representatives.
  • Plan and direct all Supply Chain activities for CMOs, applicable Sanofi Industrial sites, and Country Affiliates for NA and ROW.
  • Lead and support projects for the General Medicines External Manufacturing North America Portfolio.
  • Manage all Supply Chain activities for new product launches to ensure capability and growth.
  • Accountable for reporting Supply Chain KPIs.
  • Support Global Purchasing in negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Assist in managing P&L, budgets, and expenses for externally produced products.

About You
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical Supply Chain manufacturing OR packaging across various dosage forms, including sterile products, medical devices (electronics and molding), biotechnology or technical project management.

  • Multi-faceted industry experience in Supply Chain planning and operations

  • Proficiency in core system functionality (SAP and Kinaxis)

Main Responsibilities
Supply & Inventory Management
  • Ensure continuous product supply from North American subcontractors while optimizing inventory levels.

CMO Relationship Management
  • Manage Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) costs and overall relationships.
  • Conduct Quality Business Reviews and monthly inventory reconciliations.
  • Oversee contract, relationship, and financial performance management in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Resolve and settle contractual issues in conjunction with Global Purchasing representatives.
Strategic Planning & Project Leadership
  • Plan and direct all Supply Chain activities for CMOs, applicable Sanofi Industrial sites, and Country Affiliates for North American and Rest of World (ROW) commercial products.
  • Lead and support projects for the General Medicines External Manufacturing North America Portfolio.
  • For new product launches, manage all Supply Chain activities to ensure manufacturing capability and support product growth.
Performance & Financial Oversight
  • Accountable for reporting Supply Chain KPIs.
  • Support Global Purchasing representatives in negotiating new or renewed supplier contracts.
  • Assist in managing Profit & Loss, project budgets, and expenses for externally produced products.
