Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technologies Airborne Spectrum Dominance Product Line Supply Chain team, supporting a portfolio of fast-paced development programs.

The successful candidate will develop material strategies, interface with program leadership, and ensure flawless execution from front end through contract closure in a dynamic environment. This onsite role is based in Goleta or El Segundo, CA and requires the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 5–8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
• Planning and executing sourcing decisions and supporting Make/Buy/Where decisions.
• Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and communicating required Terms.
• Generating SSOWs (Supplier Statements of Work).
• Preparing RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluating supplier proposals.
• Managing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
• Driving Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management (MRP).

Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technologies Airborne Spectrum Dominance Product Line Supply Chain team supporting a portfolio of fast-paced development programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll create and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.

This position supports product development efforts and requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing fast paced environment where robust material strategy and agile execution are key factors to overall program success.

This position is primarily onsite working in Goleta or El Segundo, CA.

What You Will Do

• Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
• Planning and executing sourcing decisions and supporting the Make/Buy/Where Process
• Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and communicating required Terms
• Attachments and/or Modifications
• Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
• Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes
• Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
• Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management including MRP system demand loads
• Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
• Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and communicating required Terms and Conditions, Attachments and/or Modifications
• Ability to travel

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
• Experience with Office 365

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related
• Experience supporting product development efforts
• Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)
• Experience in a matrixed organizational structure
• Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management and EVM metrics, processes, and tools and experience being a Control Account Manager (CAM)

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
