Job summary

Nestlé Purina in Missouri is seeking a Management Development Associate to fast-track into manufacturing leadership through an immersive, rotational program across supply chain functions. You will gain broad exposure to QA, safety, engineering, HR, production, R&D, IS, and operations performance while learning how each area collaborates with supply chain.

Starting as a full-time role, you’ll rotate through sites, with relocation support and a clear path to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Complete training in warehouse, transportation, and customer service functions.
• Complete assigned department improvement projects.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and pet care industries, including insight into the consumer and/or pet owner, expertise in Purina brands, our competition, and the ability to identify and analyze segment trends.
• Experience internal and external supply chain operations, including factory logistics, warehousing and transportation, customer supply chain management, and order revenue management (ORM).
• Develop internal and external working relationships that provide exposure to various disciplines, account management, and customer teams.

Position Summary

For more than 30 years, our Management Development Associate program has developed our future leaders. As a Management Development Associate, you will embark on a personal and professional development experience a classroom simply can’t offer.

As a Supply Chain Management Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we'll explore quality assurance, safety, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand how each of these areas collaborate with supply chain. You’ll also gain insight into material life cycles, developing and managing strategies to optimize inventory levels and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain process.

• Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program

• You will start your rotation for this Supply Chain MDA at one of the following Nestlé Purina factories: Bloomfield, Missouri, or Davenport, Iowa

The starting pay for this position is $73,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
