Supply Chain Management Analyst
Location: Rockmart, GA 30153-0487; Atlanta, GA 30339
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Supports transportation, logistics inventory, trade compliance, and warehouse teams to optimize performance and resolve issues.
- Analyzes logistics data (freight, inventory, costs) from internal systems, freight forwarder systems, 3PL portals, and CBP ACE to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Initiates new processes or changes existing ones related to logistics cost, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Creates and supports digital applications for SCM data management using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and RPA.
- Coordinates cross‑functional project teams to achieve efficiency improvements or solve issues.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Reviews and analyzes system data integrity and recommends changes when necessary.
- Supports other departments with data‑related projects or cross‑functional teams.
- Performs other job‑related responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of applicable experience in supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective collaboration, and communication in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and respond appropriately to customer and company needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or other data‑analytics software.
- Knowledge of general logistics principles and relevant data.
- Knowledge of inventory control, supply‑and‑demand principles, and related data.
