Job summary

O-I is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to assist in procurement, data analysis, inventory tracking and process improvement. You will work under the Logistics Analyst and contribute to multiple projects across buying, expediting and spend analysis.

The role requires pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, strong English communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. This internship offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (logistics, purchasing/sourcing, operations, and transportation).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.
• Previous internships considered a plus.
• You’re legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. (O-I does not sponsor working visas for internships)

Responsibilities

• Support and learn key supply chain processes across buying, expediting, analytics and master data.
• Lead smaller projects and provide updates; elevate issues and suggest improvements.
• Create and maintain KPIs for inventory, service and forecast accuracy.
• Assist with spend analysis, freight tendering, and transportation spend data analysis.
• Participate in projects to improve supply chain processes and perform ad hoc analyses.
