Job summary

Lutron Electronics Company, Inc is seeking a Supply Chain Localization Specialist to own localization projects in Humacao. You will drive supplier localization and qualification programs, coordinating with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure compliant supplier transitions and strong performance across the supply base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify localization opportunities for materials, components, and services sourced from external suppliers.
• Research and evaluate potential local and regional suppliers capable of meeting business requirements.
• Support development and execution of supplier localization strategies and project plans.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, including quality, capacity, cost, and delivery performance evaluations.
• Assist in transitioning products and components from existing suppliers to localized suppliers.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Engineering teams to manage supplier qualification processes.
• Coordinate supplier audits, assessments, and corrective action activities.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure compliance with company requirements.
• Maintain supplier records, qualification documentation, and project status updates.
• Participate in supplier development initiatives to improve performance and capabilities.

As a Supply Chain Localization Specialist, you will take ownership of high-stakes projects from day one. • Experience working with SAP, ERP, MRP, or supply chain management systems - preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
