Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Launch Manager to lead end-to-end NPI projects in Trauma & Extremities. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to deliver new product introductions on time and within plan.

Responsibilities include developing operations and launch readiness plans, guiding scale-up and global launches, and ensuring alignment of make-vs-buy decisions while driving process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required.

• 8+ years of professional work experience in relevant fields.

• Develop operations strategy, assemble team and create project plan from charter through hand-off to production for global launch.
• Collaborate with functions to achieve profitability, timeliness and quality for projects.
• Deliver projects in compliance with NPD processes and procedures.
• Provide innovative solutions to accelerate execution and meet deliverables.
• Build cross-functional teams and provide feedback and coaching to members.
• Communicate business risks and opportunities to next management level.
• Develop launch readiness plans and support manufacturing scale-up for global launches.

The Supply Chain Launch Manager leads end-to-end supply chain execution for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within Trauma & Extremities, from strategy and planning through scale-up and global launch. This highly visible role aligns cross-functional teams, manages risks and dependencies, and drives timely, high-quality business outcomes. We are seeking an innovative, results-driven project leader who can challenge conventional approaches, simplify processes, and introduce new ways of working to accelerate decision-making and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serves as the End to End supply chain lead for NPI and LCM projects, driving project plans, deliverables, and execution.
• Partner with Marketing, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain teams to develop strategies to achieve business goals and provide governance through effective prioritization and allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
• Responsible for developing operations strategy, assembling team and development/execution of operations project plan from project charter through the hand-off to the manufacturing/supplier site all the way to global launch.
• Partners with other functions to achieve overall business goals for a project, including commercial success, profitability, timeliness and quality.
• Delivers projects in compliance of defined processes & procedures related to new product development.
• Provides innovative solutions to accelerate project execution and meet business deliverables.
• Builds strong cross-functional teams, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues, risks and/or opportunities to next management level
• Develops launch readiness plans and supports manufacturing scale-up to support new product global launches and long-term supply strategies.
• Ensures alignment across make vs. buy decisions, supporting site selection, in collaborations with Source and Plan functions

Qualifications

Education:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required; Masters degree preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• A minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in relevant fields.
• Experience in NPD/NPI project management
• Experience in supply chain or manufacturing
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Experience in building business strategies and implementation of driving strategies is required.
• Well organized, self-motivated, energetic, creative, resourceful, insightful, personable and articulate.
• Must possess strong leadership, management and teamwork qualities.

Preferred:

• Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Biologics industries
• Experience leading cross-functional or NPI teams
• Six Sigma, Process Excellence Certifications
• Project Management/PMP/FPX certification
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and enterprise supply chains
• People management experience is preferred
