Job summary

Indigo Beam Consulting in Houston is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain for a contract-to-hire role. You will analyze business needs, map processes, and support supply chain systems to improve efficiency and data quality.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, testers, and PMs to deliver practical solutions, while leading or supporting mid-size initiatives and ensuring successful adoption of new systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supply chain and/or IT experience with progressive responsibility.
• 5+ years as an IT and/or Business Analyst, including Oracle EBS experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale projects and day-to-day operations.
• Strong project management, multitasking, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of analytics, data analysis, process development, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams and locations.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and deliver quality results.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple locations and functions.

Responsibilities

• Apply supply chain process expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans.
• Partner with stakeholders, technical analysts, developers, testers, PMs, customers, and suppliers to define needs and deliver solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and document business and system process improvements.
• Produce project deliverables such as BRDs, scope matrices, use cases, and UAT plans.
• Lead or participate in initiatives and manage scope, priorities, milestones, risks.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, estimates, specs, reports, and issues.
• Communicate updates and risks through meetings, exec summaries, and written reports.
• Support system testing, QA planning, conversions, upgrades, and readiness.
• Promote user adoption and customer satisfaction by aligning delivered systems with processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
