Job summary

ABEC is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support procurement, inventory management, logistics, planning and analytics. You will contribute to department goals by assisting routine functions, analyzing data, and supporting up to three CI-focused projects to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy.

The role involves receiving material, organizing inventory, performing cycle counts, and issuing materials to ongoing projects while exploring new ways to enhance overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Willing to research/test scan gun technologies and improve processes.
• Interest in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and drive tasks to completion.

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Supply Chain team through a combination of project-based assignments and day-to-day operational activities. This internship provides exposure to procurement, inventory management, logistics, planning, and supply chain analytics. The intern will contribute to departmental goals by assisting with routine supply chain functions, data analysis, and supplier-related activities while also leading or supporting up to three meaningful projects focused on improving efficiency, inventory accuracy, reporting, or overall supply chain performance.
