Job summary

Emerson is offering a hands-on internship in Shakopee, MN to support strategic supply chain projects and KPI tracking. You will assist with research, data analysis, and the rollout of company-standard tools, gaining exposure to global operations and cross-functional teams.

The role targets students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or business, with no prior experience required. This in-person internship includes housing support and a structured program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field
• Zero (0) years of related experience
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in‑person at our Shakopee, MN location
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Prior internship, project, or leadership experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Support strategic supply chain projects that impact key performance measures across the organization by assisting with research, analysis, and project execution.
• Assist in tracking and reporting key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) to help measure operational effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze supply chain data to uncover trends, evaluate processes, and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve inventory performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to supply chain requirements, procedures, standards, and processes to support operational consistency and continuous improvement.
• Provide support to manufacturing sites and business teams as they evaluate and adopt company-standard supply chain tools and processes.
• Participate in business system testing and validation activities to ensure supply chain systems function effectively and meet business requirements.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives by utilizing supply chain tools and business processes that support an integrated supply chain strategy.
• Gain exposure to global supply chain operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
