Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and Power BI preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Java is a plus; ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process material requisitions and purchase orders per procedures.
• Expedite POs and secure delivery dates and quantities.
• Interview vendors and source supply with cost and quality in mind.
• Maintain relationships with vendor companies and reps.
• Negotiate returns/replacements of rejected materials.
• Coordinate orders of raw materials and filters with Production Control.
• Inform leadership of new materials and supplier conditions affecting cost/availability.
• Understand material usage needs for subsidiary ops and ensure vendor info is shared.
• Familiarize with federal/state regulations affecting purchases; apply accordingly.
• Complete paperwork such as price changes, debit memos, freight claims.
