Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a financial analyst to provide analytical leadership for supply chain objectives. This role focuses on modeling, reporting, and insights to optimize costs and operating income across GWW operations.

You will partner with management to investigate trends and prepare recommendations for strategic objectives. The position requires 1–3 years of financial analysis experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or other analytical fields preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis or related projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to develop financial models and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytic thought leadership supporting supply chain objectives through analysis and modeling.
• Analyze supply chain costs including transportation, warehousing and inventory costs.
• Develop financial forecasts related to procurement, logistics, and distribution.
• Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs.
• Build financial models to evaluate supply chain investments.
• Support budgeting and long-range planning for supply chain operations.
• Ensure supply chain financial processes comply with policies and standards.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to leadership with clear visuals.
