Job summary

Daher Aerospace is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director for our Stuart, Florida facility. You will lead procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a high‑rate aerospace environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop strategies, drive KPI dashboards, manage budgets, ensure AS9100 compliance, and mentor a team of professionals to achieve 98% inventory accuracy and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of supply chain experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong background in procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Demonstrated success leading change, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain functions, including purchasing, planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, logistics, and materials management.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business and manufacturing objectives.
• Drive supplier performance, sourcing initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Sales.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost savings, and on‑time delivery.
• Establish and monitor KPI dashboards and performance metrics.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and team development.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements and support successful audits.

Daher’s Industry Division site in Stuart, Florida is a key U.S. manufacturing facility specializing in the assembly of complex metallic and composite aerostructures for major commercial and defense aircraft programs. The site produces large, critical aircraft structures—including wings, fuselage sections, and structural assemblies for leading aerospace customers such as Boeing and Gulfstream, combining advanced manufacturing, industrialization, and quality‑driven production processes. As part of Daher’s global Industry Division, the Stuart operation emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous improvement while supporting high‑rate aerospace production and investing in workforce development, technology, and long‑term growth in the North American aerospace market.

Daher Aerospace is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead all supply chain operations at our Stuart, Florida facility. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will provide strategic and operational leadership across procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilitises

• Lead all supply chain functions, including purchasing, planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, logistics, and materials management.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business and manufacturing objectives.
• Drive supplier performance, sourcing initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Sales.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost savings, and on‑time delivery.
• Establish and monitor KPI dashboards and performance metrics.

• Achieve 98% inventory accuracy and 98% parts availability.
• Optimize inventory levels and planning parameters.
• Improve SAP data integrity and supply chain performance.
• Successfully transition hardware sourcing to direct supplier relationships.
• Implement best‑in‑class supply chain metrics and processes.
• Drive measurable improvements in supplier performance, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

Information Related To The Position

• The compensation range is $180,000 to $195,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus.
• The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
