Job summary

Newrest is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Manager in the United States to implement our supply chain and procurement strategy while ensuring strict health, safety, and HACCP standards across production teams. You will participate in Comex actions, monitor KPIs, and lead reporting to management and the Group.

The role includes identifying key suppliers, negotiating terms for cost savings, ensuring ERP usage, and maintaining inventory control in line with Group guidelines and safety

Job description

GENERAL JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE

• Implement supply chain and procurement strategy and policies
• Make sure that the production teams adhere to our standards in term of health safety, food safety and HACCP
• Participate and adhere of the company’s Comex actions and decisions
• Detect issues in order to set corrective action plans
• Follow closely KPIs and monitor the operations on daily basis
• Be proactive in setting up action plans to improve our logistics and supply chain
• Manage the teams and guarantee constant reporting
• Report accurately and on time to your Management, including from the Group
• Supervise the human resources, planning, vacations schedules, timesheets
• Identify key local and international suppliers for all materials, equipment and supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales in order to ensure savings
• Select, maintain and manage a supplier base that is financially sound, technically competent ensuring quality at expected costs
• Budget control and variance analysis
• Make sure of the correct use of the ERP by your teams
• Resolve the vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers
• Analyze the market in order to find new suppliers
• Follow the Group guidelines in term of implementation of innovation solutions, where applicable
• Make sure the golden rules of the Group are followed (Inventory control …)
• Control the use of individual safety equipment by the employees
• Inform about the performance of the quality management system and the opportunities for improvement
• Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
• Manage the logistic Warehouse to offshore sites

The role requires versatility, innovation, and creativity in establishing safe working processes that comply with customer requirements. It is essential to uphold the Company's values, standards, and norms while ensuring strict adherence to all necessary QHSE and HACCP/CCP procedures to guarantee food safety.
