Powers Health in Indiana seeks a Materials Master Data Specialist to maintain the item master and vendor relationships within the Materials Management Information System, supporting requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, and invoice matching for the enterprise.

The role improves product recall processes across the healthcare system and requires a Bachelor's in supply chain, plus experience in healthcare or similar industries, strong analytical and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business field required.
• Experience in a supply chain role, preferably healthcare.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with supply chain software; PeopleSoft experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilités

• Maintain item master and vendor relationships in MMIS.
• Enter and maintain large data volumes on items, vendors, pricing, and units of measure.
• Support product recall optimization across the healthcare system.
• Assist with requisitioning, order entry, PO issuance, receiving, and invoice verification.

Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the item master and item vendor relationships contained in the Materials Management Information System. The database is used across the enterprise for product requisitioning, order entry, issuing purchase orders, receiving products and services, invoice verification and matching invoices for payments. Enters and maintains large volumes of information including but not limited to items, vendors, pricing, and units of measure along with other key elements associated to an items attributes. This position is integral to maintaining efficient supply chain workflow and cost containment. In addition, this role maintains information to optimize the product recall process across the healthcare system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business related field required.
• Experience in a supply chain role, preferably healthcare.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with supply chain software; Oracle Peoplesoft experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills with sound decision-making abilities.
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to plan, organize and exercise sound judgment.
