Job summary

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst for the Supply Chain Analytics team. You will support the GCT group to deliver actionable insights and drive business outcomes, in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

The role is based at Flagstaff, AZ (preferred) or Elkton, MD, with a potential hybrid arrangement. You will contribute to BI, data modeling, and KPI measurement to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field with transferable knowledge.
• 4+ years of relevant data analytics experience.
• 2+ years analytics in supply chain or manufacturing.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL/Python.
• Strong communication and cross-functional influence.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear data analyses, visualizations, and stories identifying trends and issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into solutions.
• Define and maintain KPIs for manufacturing and supply chain performance.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Analytics team within Gore Medical. In this role, you will support the Gore Components Technology (GCT) team to deliver actionable insights that drive business outcomes. This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona (preferred), or Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Pay and Benefits:

• $103,000 - $137,000per year

Responsibilities

• Developing clear data analyses, visualizations, and stories that identify trends and issues, drive action and produce business outcomes
• Partnering cross functionally with stakeholders and internal customers to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions across the spectrum of data storage, retrieval, cleansing, analysis, visualization and storytelling
• Defining, developing, and maintaining the measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of manufacturing and supply chain performance.
• Conducting statistical analyses and building predictive and prescriptive models to support data-driven decision making
• Leveraging supply chain knowledge to identify and prioritize areas of greatest opportunity for improvement and applications for data analysis
• Advancing best practices for use of business intelligence and other data analytics tools
• Providing guidance and training to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or major in related quantitative discipline with transferable knowledge and experiences
• Minimum of 4 years relevant data analytics experience
• Minimum of 2 years applying analytics in a supply chain or manufacturing environment
• Experience building data pipelines or integrations to provide data to applications, including systematization with ETL tools or applications
• Demonstrated experience with analytics software (Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, SQL, Python, etc.) and O365 Applications (Excel, SharePoint, Power Platform, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence business outcomes through effective cross-functional partnerships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in related quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into intuitive and actionable insights
• Strong perspective on best practices for analytics user experience, data visualization, and storytelling
