Job summary

Elis is seeking an Andover-based Supply Chain team leader to oversee daily customer service activities and support the broader supply chain. The role is full-time and permanent, on-site at Elis.

You will lead, coach and develop the team, manage workloads and resource planning, and act as the first escalation point for issues. You will monitor KPIs, drive performance improvements, and participate in supply chain projects, with opportunities for ongoing development in a collaborative,

The Opportunity

• Lead and support the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service team.


• Manage workloads, priorities and resource planning.


• Act as the first point of escalation for customer service and operational issues.


• Coach, develop and motivate team members through regular feedback and training.


• Monitor service performance and ensure KPIs are achieved.


• Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions where required.


• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and quality standards.


• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.


• Assist with Supply Chain projects, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within Customer Service, Supply Chain or a similar operational environment.


• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.


• Experience monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements.


• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.


• Good knowledge of order management and customer service processes.


• Competent Microsoft Excel skills.


• Experience using AX or similar ERP systems is desirable.


• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.


• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement Administration or Import/Export would be advantageous.
