Job summary

Join us and be part of something extraordinary!Position Responsibilities:.Supply chain administrator is responsible for providing semi-professional support and some analysis/expertise in one to two functional areas of logistics (i.e. transportation/freight, import/export, etc.).In addition to completing general projects as they relate/interface with other areas of the supply chain (i.e. customs, planning, etc.).Responsible for performing routine clerical duties such as maintaining letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed records arranged in a file according to an established system.Retrieves data or correspondence from files as requested within an appropriate time frame.Incumbents obtain necessary permits and prepare tax documents.Works with purchasing or sales to make appropriate arrangements for carriers based on delivery time requirements.Participate in continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks.Comply with all TS16949 policies and procedures.Provide general support across all or most functional areas of the logistics departmentPerform other duties as required and assignedEssential Skills and Experience:High School DiplomaComputer Skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAPGood Communication SkillsIn-depth knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain managementBasic knowledge of transportation/freight management processes and proceduresProficient in Microsoft OfficeAccuracy and attention to detail.Preferred Skills and experience:Associates DegreeExperience in the Automotive industryPhysical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
