Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Supply Chain Component Site Lead in Shoreview, MN, to coordinate site procurement, capacity planning, and supplier performance. You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager, APX Supply Chain, and collaborate with the site leadership to align operational needs with the broader supply chain strategy.

The role requires leading a team, managing supplier relationships, and driving improvements in safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain/procurement experience in engineered products.
• Experience leading supplier quality, sourcing, and planning functions.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP (SAP preferred).
• Execution leadership and supplier development; escalation management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team of procurement project managers and supplier performance engineers located at the site.
• Provide direction to on-site supplier quality engineers and sourcing specialists.
• Serve as the central connection point between the site's operational needs and the broader WBS supply chain structure.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance as the WBS Lead for commodities produced at the site.
• Lead capacity planning for materials and services required to support the site, including forecasting needs and bottleneck identification.
• Oversee supplier adherence, milestones, documentation to ensure program requirements.
• Represent the site in planning meetings, program reviews, and supply chain readiness assessments.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage vendor performance on the Approved/QSL lists.

About The Role

As a Supply Chain Component Site Lead you will work between the site and the WBS organization. You will be responsible for daily direction of site supply chain resources, management of commodities delivered by the site, capacity planning, schedule agreement, and supplier performance.

This is an onsite position in Shoreview MN. You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager, APX Supply Chain and will matrix report to the site leader at the Shoreview facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team of procurement project managers and supplier performance engineers located at the site.
• Provide direction (matrix relationship) to the on-site supplier quality engineers and sourcing specialists.
• Serve as the central connection point between the site's operational needs and the broader WBS supply chain structure.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance as the WBS Lead for commodities produced at the site.
• Lead capacity planning for materials and services required to support the site, including forecasting needs, identifying bottlenecks, and assessing supplier load and capability.
• Oversee and track supplier adherence, production milestones, witness/hold points, inspection readiness, and documentation deliverables to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Represent the site in WBS planning meetings, program reviews, and supply chain readiness assessments.
• Maintain supplier relationships, manage vendor performance, identify new vendors, ensure required vendors are active on the Approved Supplier List (ASL and the Qualified Supplier List (QSL).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• 5+ years of supply chain/procurement experience in engineered products
• Experience leading supplier quality, sourcing, and planning functions

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
