Fastenal Co. in Napa, CA is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage inventory and support procurement, sourcing, and quoting for customers.

The position is based at 474 Technology Way, Napa, CA 94558 and offers MON-FRI shifts from 7:00am to 5:00pm with up to 28 hours per week. The role emphasizes strong communication, math aptitude, organization, and teamwork, with the ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs as needed.

Competenze

• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have customer service/industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills

• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

OVERVIEW:

Embark on a dynamic journey as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain excellence. In addition to managing inventory, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business‑to‑business operations by administering procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions that seamlessly meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of their business. This position is for our branch located at 474 Technology Way, Napa, CA 94558.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field of study OR have customer service or industry related work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills

• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
