The work:

A Manager in Transportation Strategy designs and implements scalable logistics solutions that optimize transportation performance across modes, costs, and service levels. Responsibilities include transportation procurement, network design, fleet management, and digital enablement.

1. Partner with senior executives to shape transportation strategies aligned with broader supply chain goals and measurable business impacts.
2. Address enterprise-wide logistics challenges through data-driven, actionable strategies.
3. Lead projects on transportation network optimization, including mode selection, route design, and service level analysis.
4. Develop cost-to-serve models and performance frameworks for procurement and fleet strategies.
5. Leverage analytics and digital technology to improve visibility and performance tracking.
6. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across logistics, analytics, procurement, and operations.
7. Contribute to business development through proposals and thought leadership on emerging trends.
8. Encourage adoption of innovative transportation technologies and digital solutions.
9. Design logistics strategies that enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability, creating positive community impacts.

Here’s what you need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain initiatives, focusing on logistics and transportation strategy.
• A Bachelor’s Degree.

• You can identify and articulate new value in logistics simply.
• You have experience presenting value propositions to C-suite and senior leaders.
• You have worked on strategic cost reduction projects.
