Job summary

Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is offering a Summer 2027 Supply Chain Intern position at the Chicago plant. You\'ll gain hands-on experience in inventory management, automated replenishment, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Manager of Inventory and Replenishment, you will work with cross-functional teams to support AIM program, develop reports and dashboards, and participate in process improvements to enhance customer

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems using data and process improvement.
• Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Effective communicator who enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer, inventory, and replenishment data in the AIM program.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, reporting issues, and system exceptions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, IT, Sales, Operations, and Customer Experience teams.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and documentation to support decisions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives for efficiency.
• Analyze inventory consumption and AIM performance metrics.
• Review inventory trends to evaluate supply planning.
• Help ensure materials meet customer demand.
• Support ongoing inventory management and continuous improvement.
