Job summary

HD Supply is offering Supply Chain Intern opportunities across its national distribution network. The role emphasizes analytics, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to improve inventory, transportation, and service levels.

You will gain hands-on experience with data, processes, and systems that keep a large, high-velocity distribution operation running, supporting 40+ distribution centers and multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in a related field with a 2027-2028 graduation window.
• Hands-on SQL experience via courses, projects, or internships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot, lookups, basic analysis).
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support analytics initiatives across inventory, demand, logistics, and network performance.
• Use SQL to query, validate, and analyze large datasets from enterprise systems.
• Assist with data cleansing, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Build dashboards and summaries to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with supply chain, operations, and analytics teams on improvements.
• Document findings, processes, and recommendations clearly.
