The ideal candidate has a math/analytics background, experience in logistics, proficiency with ERP systems and databases, and strong communication skills to present findings and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, logistics, business analytics or similar field.
• Previous experience in supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, relational databases, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in data collection and analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze supply chain data
• Identify issues with the existing supply chain processes and make recommendations on improvements
• Implement supply chain optimization projects
• Develop improved standards and procedures
• Research shipping modes and schedules to find the most efficient and cost-effective options
• Build relationships with vendors and other business partners
• Collaborate with IT professional to create more efficient supply chain systems and processes
• Track KPIs and report on performance
