Job description

As an Early Career Supply Chain Analyst, you will help plan, optimize, and strengthen the end-to-end supply chain that keeps our products and services moving across the globe. You will support demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory strategy while using modern analytics and AI to anticipate disruptions before they happen. You will solve real operational challenges, including lead-time variability, supplier performance, and cost-to-serve, directly impacting how reliably we deliver. Successful candidates will integrate modern AI tools and automated workflows to accelerate productivity, sharpen forecasting, and solve complex operational problems.

Our Early Career cohort offers hands‑on, on‑site experience in the Greater Denver Area. As an Early Career Supply Chain Analyst, you won't just manage routine reporting; you will take direct ownership of live enterprise workflows, partner with cross‑functional leaders, and help build a resilient, efficient supply network for EchoStar. You will benefit from structured onboarding, 1:1 mentorship from seasoned supply chain leaders, practical skill‑building on live enterprise systems, and a defined progression pathway within our global operations organization.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Partner with your manager and mentor to build deep domain knowledge across EchoStar's end-to-end supply chain operations within your first 90 days
  • Support demand planning and inventory forecasting, using data to balance stock levels against service and cost targets
  • Analyze supplier performance, lead times, and logistics costs to identify operational risks and optimization opportunities
  • Support procurement workflows, including purchase order administration, vendor coordination, and contract compliance to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing
  • Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting (Excel, Tableau, Power BI) that give stakeholders real-time visibility into inventory, fulfillment, and supply chain KPIs
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, engineering, and vendor partners to streamline the flow of goods and information.
  • Leverage AI-powered forecasting, automated data pipelines, and workflow tools to improve planning accuracy and eliminate manual tasks
  • Identify process bottlenecks, lead root‑cause investigations, and present actionable recommendations to operational leadership
Core Skills, Competencies, and Key Experiences (What you’ll bring)
  • Foundational knowledge of end-to-end supply chain principles, including inventory management, procurement, demand forecasting, or logistics/distribution flows
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas); hands‑on exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) or basic SQL is an asset
  • Understanding of workflow mapping (Visio, Lucidchart), Lean/Six Sigma concepts, or exposure to enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Display a strong continuous‑learning mindset, proactively experimenting with AI features, Copilot tools, and emerging tech solutions for continuous process improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from operational data
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external vendors
  • Deliver results with full accountability, organizational discipline, and attention to detail

Minimum Requirements:
