The Kinetic Group in Anoka, Minnesota, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to drive down total costs while ensuring a steady flow of materials for our ammunition manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with Category Management, Demand Planning, Operations, and suppliers to forecast demand, monitor inventory, and optimize pricing and sourcing strategies.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ year of supply chain experience, with strong Excel and BI reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 1+ years in a Supply Chain environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred (particularly Excel).
• Experience with BI Reporting.

• Manage category reporting across all supply categories.
• Develop reporting metrics for historical on-time delivery, quality, and pricing.
• Create order forecasting mechanisms for major categories (brass/lead/powder/plastics/packaging).

The Kinetic Group is seeking a **Supply Chain Analyst** to support Supply Chain initiatives that drive down the total cost of goods/services while maintaining a continuous flow of supply into our ammunition manufacturing facilities. This role will support the Supply Chain organization by working in collaboration with Category Management, Demand Planning, Operations, Cross-Functional Leadership, and key Suppliers.This position reports to the Sr. Director of Production Planning/Scheduling and is based out of our **Anoka, Minnesota** office.**As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will have an opportunity to:**Manage category reporting across all supply categories* Develop reporting metrics that provide historical views of on time delivery, quality, and pricing* Create order forecasting mechanisms for major categories (brass/lead/powder/plastics/packaging)* Analyze inventory position and provide forecast to support quarter-end and year-end targets* Identify slow moving inventory and create plans with Operations to consume or dispose* Support Buying and Planning functions at all manufacturing locations* Utilizing BI Data Cubes, develop and automate reports concerning key Supply Chain metrics for Executive Management* Work closely with Sales, Product Line and Engineering resources to understand market trends, portfolio management and new product introduction in support of Demand PlanAnalyze pricing/cost trends related to Demand and Supply Chain activities* Develop cost comparison tool comparing similar products across key vendors* Perform historical price analysis at part number level* Identify sourcing strategy within category to optimize cost* Identify and project expected effects on Demand due to price increases/decreasesSupport Contracts/Legal initiatives as needed* Provide insight and data to support ongoing negotiations with key suppliers* Define and track performance metrics for critical suppliers* Gain understanding of long-term supplier partnerships based on negotiations that include a supplier development plan, process flowcharts/improvements, and shared financial investments and incentives* Develop key supplier scorecards, measure compliance, report savings and conduct formal business reviews to include lessons learnedProvide analytics to directly support monthly business review with key internal stakeholders* Communicate milestones achieved and relevant concerns existing within the Supply Chain* Provide detailed updates on supplier delivery performance, inventory position, and forecast* Articulate solutions to short-term production challenges* Demonstrate ability to produce root cause / countermeasures analysis to address quality and delivery issues* Support and track cost savings initiatives for the Supply Chain team**You have:*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.* 1+ years in a Supply Chain environment* Demonstrated ability to engage, collaborate, motivate and share accountability in matrix environment.* Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred (particularly Excel)* Experience with BI Reporting**You might have:*** MBA preferred* Prior experience sourcing fabricated metal, packaging, plastics, capital equipment or tooling.
