Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Houston, TX seeks an Analyst to improve end-to-end supply chain performance through analysis and stakeholder engagement. You’ll ensure optimal stock levels, update ERP data, and support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include driving process improvements, training users on JDE/SAP, leading root-cause investigations, and documenting processes to enable continuous improvement in a dynamic supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ supply chain experience, including demand and supply planning.
• Experience with supplier engagement is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

The Analyst will ensure optimum stock levels are kept at all times and update systems with correct information.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Undertake process improvement efforts, focused on improving SLA’s and KPI’s.Drive continuous process improvement by leading and supporting projects to optimize the flow of products.Provide high quality training and coaching to new and existing supply chain users on the ERP (JDE/SAP) processes and stock level reports. Create and maintain documentation to support the training and day-to-day activities of the supply chain team.Provide support to the day-to-day supply chain operationsAct as a Change Agent for all systems and processes used by supply chain team. Promote engagement of new systems and process.Act as a point of contact for colleagues on supply chain system issues.Act as a point of contact for reporting questions, issues and enhancements.Lead root cause investigationsUndertake audits within the Supply Chain - Preparation/Execution/ Reporting/ Improvement feedbackEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBusiness degreeMust have 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain covering Demand/Supply Planning preferably with a supplier engagement element to the roleStrong communication skills and stake holder manager, with the ability to adapt their communication style depending on the messageHave a track record of delivering process improvements and working in an ever evolving supply chain function, and never settling for the status quoDemonstrate the ability to apply the foresight to predict potential areas of risk and mitigateBe able to travel to sites if needed.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
