Applica seeks a Supply Chain Analyst in Houston, TX for a 6 month contract. The role emphasizes verifying costs with vendors, estimating expenditures, and proposing cost-saving measures to upper management.

You will support supplier relationships and collaborate with Category Leads, Operations Managers, and Accounting to optimize cost control. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong Excel and MS Office skills, with excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with cost verification, budgeting, and cost-saving recommendations is a plus.

About the role

• As a Supply Chain Analyst, your job duties include verifying costs with vendors and suppliers, estimating expenditures, and recommending cost-saving measures to upper management.
• Supply Chain Analyst reporting to the Supply Chain Source to Pay Lead responsible for validating charges and allocating costs for Apache’s Drilling, Completions and Production Teams
• Maintain the relationship between Apache and our Suppliers
• Work closely with the Supply Chain Category Leads, Operations Managers, and Accounting
• Work on Cost Control special projects as needed

About you

• To be successful in this role you must be Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in Microsoft Excel, have strong communication skills and hold a College Graduate (Bachelors) preferably in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business
