Job summary

Solventum, a healthcare-focused company, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to plan production schedules and manage procurement within a hybrid work setting. You will collaborate with operations to understand scheduling impacts and use data-driven methods to improve service levels and inventory turns.

The role requires a minimum degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with additional qualifications in supply chain planning and analytical tools such as Power BI, SAP, SQL and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum degree requirements and/or experience in supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are expected.
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, procurement and data tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan production schedules and manage supply chain activities.
  • Own planning, scheduling and procurement processes to support manufacturing.
  • Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve service and inventory turns.
  • Analyze material flow data to inform procurement and scheduling.
  • Implement standard work to improve product flow.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Supply Chain Analyst position you have the opportunity to plan production schedules and experience many aspects of the Supply Chain organization. Day to day responsibilities will include ownership of specific planning, scheduling and procurement processes necessary to support manufacturing within the plant.

  • Procure raw materials and inputs required for production
  • Work closely with production operations teams to understand production impacts to the schedule and forecasts
  • Utilize Supply Chain tools, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and processes to make data-driven decisions to improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory
  • Analyze material flow data to make procurement, planning and scheduling decisions.
  • Implement defined standard work to improve product flow. .
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited University
  • Associates degree and 2 years of Supply Chain experience
  • High School/ GED and 4 years of Supply Chain experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Previous supply chain planning experience
  • Pursuing or begin APICS certification process upon start of assignment.
  • Experience with Microsoft, MS Cloud Apps (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Power BI), SAP, and SQL a plus
  • Self-directed work ethic to perform duties.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in oral/written form.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable using Excel spreadsheets and word processing skills.

Work location: Hybrid ( 2-3 days onsite)

Travel: May travel up to 10% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $73,600 - $101,200, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
