Job summary

Novolex seeks an Inventory Analyst to oversee day-to-day warehouse inventory movements and cycle counts, ensuring accurate stock records. You will analyze data, report metrics, and partner with the Supply Chain Planning team to optimize locations and productivity.

The role requires strong root-cause analysis, experience with SAP/WMS, and effective collaboration with internal customers to support inventory allocation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

This position will be responsible for the management of day to day movements, cycle counting, auditing and count & bin accuracy of warehouse inventory. Will also manage repack, damages, and slow moving stock, and will report inventory cost variances. The position will provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damages in the warehouse while utilizing the Warehouse Management System and SAP. The Inventory Analyst will partner with the Supply Chain Planning team to optimize inventory locations within the warehouse to increase productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Process owner for Inventory Management, and best practices, within the warehouse
• Provide weekly inventory financial data, analysis and reporting
• Serve as a key liaison to various internal customers for all stock inventory allocation requirements
• Responsible for the daily execution of stock inventory movements in WMS
• Analyze, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis
• Manage inventory locations and site capacity, optimize locations for productivity and throughput
• Lead the execution of the inventory record accuracy through weekly cycle counting and annual physical inventory requirements
• Required to be an active participant during internal/external inventory audits
• Manage inventory movement between buildings
• Assure that slow moving product inventory is reviewed and disposition in a timely manner
• Maintain positive, professional, and timely communications, within various internal customers, as well as with external contacts
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement process
• Adapt to flexible work assignments to support business volume and/or department requirements
• Perform additional duties as required
