By fostering collaboration and communication, the Supplier Relationship Manager helps to optimize supply chain efficiency, enhance product quality, and drive cost savings.Essential Duties* Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration and efficiency.* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with suppliers.* Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.* Conduct regular reviews and audits of supplier practices and processes.* Work closely with Commercial and Portfolio teams to align supplier strategies with organizational goals.* Resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes in a timely manner.* Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.* Provide training and support to internal teams on supplier management best practices.* Responsible for sourcing negotiating, procuring and managing multiple commodities for new product development and/or base business maintenance.* Coordinate with Product Development and Project Management to identify and manage New Product Development Projects.* Responsible for end-to-end supply of products from managed suppliers.* Completes necessary risk analysis research in support of business critical projects; identifying potential solutions for mitigating risk.* Identifies and implements opportunities and/or processes to support Continuous Improvement initiatives.* Maintain cost control, delivery schedules and inventory levels based on desired goals and objectives.* Provide Supply Plans to suppliers and manage supplier reviews.* Attends industry conferences to source new products and manufactures.
