To be a technical focal point to determine appropriate inspection processes and provides guidance to Receiving Inspection function at the site level. Technician will assign appropriate inspection plans and document issues with supplier parts for the Supplier Quality Engineers to work to closure with the suppliers through the CAPA process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as the focal person for commodity related quality and functional issues that stem from components being purchased for manufacturing.
- Ensure that all production critical supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Serve as the point of contact for Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods, and provide guidance to Receiving Inspection team.
- Determine IQC inspection plans and levels. Adjust levels, based on 6 month monitoring performance, and impact to improve quality at point of use on the production floor.
- Monitor and drive PPM issues with the supply base in addition to helping them achieve “Dock to Stock” certified with Jabil
- Answer supplier related Jira questions to customer established time targets
- Proactively communicate information or issues that may impact the production
- Implement holds and purges based on customer requests
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company’s security policy.
- Part of the MRB process to confirm issues as supplier related as required.
- Ensure control build process and vendor rework process is tracked appropriately in traceability systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s Degree Preferred. Minimum of 2 years of working in Quality required.
BASIC PC SKILLS REQUIRED – SAP RECEIVING INSPECTION KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED
