JOB TITLE: Supplier Quality Specialist

DURATION: 12 months +

Position Overview:

The Supplier Quality Associate supports the development and continuous improvement of the supplier quality management framework. This role focuses on onboarding and operationalizing a Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS), maintaining supplier quality documentation, and managing the Supplier Notice of Change (NOC) intake and approval workflow. The position partners closely with Quality, Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering, IT, and suppliers to ensure supplier-related risks are identified, controlled, and compliant with internal and external requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the build and validation of SQMS workflows, including supplier onboarding, audits, and SCAR/CAPA processes.
  • Partner with IT and system vendors to triage issues, track defects and enhancements, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain SQMS training materials; conduct end-user training and provide ongoing Tier-1 system support.
  • Serve as the operational owner of the Supplier Notice of Change (NOC) process, including intake, categorization (major/minor), risk screening, and routing for cross-functional review.
  • Update and maintain supplier quality-related work instructions, forms, and templates (e.g., onboarding, qualification, audits, SCAR/CAPA, NOC).
  • Ensure all documentation is properly controlled within the QMS, including versioning, references, approval matrices, and training assignments.
  • Contribute to Management Review inputs and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality systems, or supply chain roles within a regulated or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, Word or Docs, and PowerPoint or Slides.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Preferred: Hands‑on experience with QMS or SQMS/eQMS platforms such as ETQ, Master Control, TrackWise, Greenlight Guru, Arena, or SAP QM.
  • Experience with MSD and BRD documentation.
  • Strong document authoring and process mapping skills.
  • Familiarity with change control and risk management practices.
