Job summary

You will support regional supplier quality, manage pre-series risk analyses, and drive qualification and audits with suppliers while coordinating delivery and quality KPIs across the plant. • Completed bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing).
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Supplier Quality and suppliers of production materials and pass-through parts.
• Generate maturity level analysis during pre-series evaluating supplier risk, availability, reliability and safety.
• Functionally manage local procurement projects at the plant.
• Approve initial samples from suppliers at the plant.
• Check and approve IMDS data and escalate quality issues with CIP projects.
• Qualify and audit suppliers per VDA 6.3 and coordinate supplier audits.
• Establish and maintain KPIs; plan inspection for incoming goods; manage escalation for APQP in pre-series and series.
• Process supplier complaints from opening to closure in the system.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting the Regional CU Supplier Quality and assisting suppliers of production materials, pass-through parts and external services relating to pre-series Generating a maturity level analysis (checking the supplier risk, availability, reliability and safety, potential audits VDA 6.3) during pre-series Functionally managing local procurement projects at the plant Drawing up evaluations of provisional results based on project milestones and taking into account the specified content and deadlines Drawing up risk assessments and initiating improvement measures together with the technical departments and suppliers Approving initial samples from suppliers at the plant Checking and approving IMDS data Responsible for the remedial measures to tackle quality problems with suppliers, incl. initiating CIP meetings or projects Qualifying and auditing suppliers as per VDA 6.3 Responsible for the organization and planning of the incoming goods inspection in the plant Drawing up inspection plans for received goods Establishing and maintaining KPIs in the assigned area Responsible for coordinating the necessary measures for escalation level 1 of Procurement Management (APQP) for pre-series and quality complaints in series production Processing of supplier complaints in the system (from the opening of the complaint to its conclusion) Planning and conduct of local requalification tests

Minimum Qualifications

• Completed bachelor's degree in engineering field such as mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience
