Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Mankato, MN is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier materials and products meet quality standards through development, auditing, and process control. You will guide suppliers, coordinate testing, and drive corrective actions across the supply chain.

The role requires formal engineering or business degrees with related quality/manufacturing experience, ISO-9001 familiarity, and a willingness to travel to supplier sites. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in quality, industrial or manufacturing engineering, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field +1 year of experience in quality, industrial or manufacturing engineering, OR
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, OR
• JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field, OR
• 5+ years of experience in quality, industrial or manufacturing engineering in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier quality for materials and products per drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and audit supplier quality standards and process controls including ISO-9001.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers, coordinate qualification testing, and support part certification and new source development.
• Track and analyze failure trends, drive root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and communicate high-priority issues to management.
• Prepare and review technical quality documents, maintain quality assurance programs, and mentor staff.
